There were quite a few homeless people in the area, but never inside the park.Gold Country Casino RV Park is a small campground. It was quiet, close access to 80 and downtown Auburn. There was a pool, hot tub, tennis court (installed just before we left), laundry room, entertainment room, and dog walk area (always on leash), playground for children, and dumpsters. He had terrible communication skills, and came across as a grumpy old man.Īll in all, it was a great experience. My only other complaint was that there was a manager who was running the park 50/50 of the time, and he was less than cordial. They would have fewer barking dogs, that’s for sure. In my opinion, they should fence off part of this area so people can let their dogs off leash. We were there over three huge holidays for camping (Memorial Day, July 4th, and Labor Day), and there were few tents ever. There’s a large area at the back of the parks for tent sites. There’s a small pond with a run-off creek that you can walk the dogs to.Īctually, that’s one of my few complaints about this park- no dog park. We were toward the back of the park, and it wasn’t unusal to see turkeys, jackalopes, foxes, and deer. There are lots of trees and the nicer spaces had grass.

The part itself is beautiful, as it’s an old KOA. We stayed at this park for nearly 9 months.
